TO ALL JFK TEAM REPS: Please call in the score of your game (even if you have lost) to the League number 675-5630 before 2:00 pm on Sundays. This is required in order to get the scores into the Buffalo News by Monday morning. Make sure you fill out your stat sheet in its entirety, including the Officials signatures at the end of the game. The League must receive the stat sheet by Wednesday following your game. You may fax it (675 5630) or send it by mail. If you want awards this year for the categories your teammates may be eligible for we need those stats sheets on time. The League thanks you. |
"OLDEST TOUCH FOOTBALL LEAGUE IN THE COUNTRY" ESTABLISHED 1963 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The JFK League is entering it's 47th year and is seeking additional teams for the 2009 season. This year we are adding a new dimension to the league format. If the league has at least 8 teams complete the regular season the top four finishers based on won - loss record will receive a paid birth to a post season tournament of their choosing. Given the ever increasing number of teams in the area that are participating in tournament play and in the spirit of promoting football throughout Buffalo and the surrounding areas the JFK League welcomes this year's venue. League meetings will begin in June with exact dates to be announced. The season starts the last weekend in July. The franchise fee this year is $975.00 which includes all Officals, insurance, playing sites and a 12 week season plus playoffs. > Open to teams and individuals throughout Western New York . Experienced players looking to play in a highly competitive division. Talented individuals with football skills and the desire to play touch football at the highest level. Ex pro, semi-pro, college, and high school players welcome. John F. Kennedy Football League Information: Games are played on regulation fields 8 man field with lineman eligible as receivers 15 minute running quarters 12 game regular season and playoffs Season ending Banquet is held Extensive Awards for team & individual performance.
